【Security Alert】Beware of Phishing Emails Impersonating Our Representative

We have recently confirmed the circulation of phishing/spam emails that impersonate our company and/or our representative and request recipients to create a LINE group. These emails are not related to our company in any way. Please note that we will never individually ask you to create a LINE group.

If you receive such an email or message, there is a risk of fraud, leakage of confidential information, malware/virus infection, redirection to phishing websites, unauthorized access, and other security incidents. For your safety, please DO NOT do any of the following:

• Sending any QR codes

• Creating a LINE group

• Opening any URLs or attachments included in the message

If you have already started communicating with the sender or believe you may have been affected, please promptly consult your local police station or relevant authorities.

Below is an example of a phishing email that has been identified:

[Yanagi Judicial Scrivener Corporation / Yanagi General Legal Affairs Office]
After receiving this email, please create a new LINE work group to handle upcoming business projects.
Adding other members to the group will be done after I join.
Once the group has been created, please generate the group’s QR code and reply to this email with the QR code.
I will join the group using the QR code and proceed with further coordination.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your cooperation.
